*For islands and locations considered remote by courier companies, there will be an extra charge of €250.00
Due to the custom clearance the services between EU and countries like
Switzerland will be split in two parts, with one delivery/pickup for each
Alternatively, for tours in Switzerland, the group can bring the devices from
any EU country as long as the Vox Kit will be returned in any EU country
Additional or special requests may be subject to an increase in rental cost.

- No cancellation charges up to 6 working days before service
- Up to 5 days before service incurs shipping costs of €80.00
- Up to 4 – 0 days incurs full charges
Any last-minute request is subject to the following extra price:
- €100.00 for service in Europe
- €75.00 for service in Italy
Any damage and/or loss of equipment is subject to the following penalties:
• Damage / loss of receiver: €75.00 per unit
• Damage / loss transmitter: €150.00 per unit
If the VOX kit is inadvertently left in a location outside the EU (e.g. Switzerland), an additional fee of €250.00 will be incurred for its retrieval.
Things to do before the tour:
- Book at least 5 working days before the tour start date, sending Vox the completed booking form.
- Be sure to note your tour code and the Tour Director contacts.
- Indicate in the note the company name with which you reserved the hotel (we will mark that name as a reference on the box).
- Warn the hotels/coach company, etc. that they will receive a box for your Tour Director from Vox.
- Once you arrive, if the concierge reports that they don’t have any box from Vox for you tour, please ask them to check againfor a box wrapped in a Vox red plastic bag.
- Once you collect the box, please double check that the references on the label correspond to your specific group to avoid any mix up of deliveries (many times we have several groups at the same hotel).
- Finally, carefully check the equipment inside the box. If you identify any problems, please contact Vox immediately on our Operations phone number (available 24/7) to resolve the issue:

Logistics after Brexit
Due to Brexit, if your tour covers both the UK and the Republic of Ireland (or UK and other EU nations), we will be forced to split our supply of radio guides into two parts to avoid customs charges, as follows:
- London / Europe (e.g. Paris):You are required to collect one Vox set in London, leave it at the London hotel when you check-out, and collect a different set on arrival at the first hotel in Paris.
- UK (includes Northern Ireland) / Republic of Ireland:You are required to collect one Vox set in UK, leave it in UK when you check-out, and then pick up a different set for your time in the Republic of Ireland.
- Republic of Ireland / UK (includes Northern Ireland):You are required to collect one Vox set in the Republic of Ireland, leave it in the Republic of Ireland when you check-out, pick up another set for your time in UK
- Northern Ireland/Republic of Ireland:Here you can use the same set (so only one) for entire duration of the tour (collection in Northern Ireland and drop off in Republic of Ireland)
- Republic of Ireland/Northern Ireland:Here you can use the same set (so only one) for entire duration of the tour (collection in Republic of Ireland and drop off in Northern Ireland)
- UK/Northern Ireland:Here you can use the same set (so only one) for entire duration of the tour (collection in UK and drop off in Northern Ireland)
- Northern Ireland/UK:Here you can use the same set (so only one) for entire duration of the tour (collection in Northern Ireland and drop off in UK)
VOX & GUIDES WORKING TOGETHER
At Vox we constantly strive to make our operations as sustainable as possible. We already place a strong focus on making sure our batteries and headsets are returned to us in dedicated bags so that we can recycle them correctly and we are increasing our use of recyclable cardboard cases in our logistics.
